TCG-Berry Trader Guide
Welcome to the TCG-Berry Trader NPC! This handy system allows players to trade TCG Cards and Berry Tickets in a dynamic and fair way, adjusting the exchange rates based on how many of these items are available in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works:
What Does It Do?
The TCG-Berry Trader lets you:
- Trade TCG Cards for Berry Tickets: Got spare TCG Cards? Turn them into Berry Tickets!
- Trade Berry Tickets for TCG Cards: Need more TCG Cards? Use your Berry Tickets to get them.
The exchange rate isn’t fixed—it changes depending on how many TCG Cards and Berry Tickets exist in the game. So, if TCG Cards are rare, you’ll get more Berry Tickets for them, and vice versa!
How Does Trading Work?
1. Trading TCG Cards for Berry Tickets
- Minimum trade: You need at least 10 TCG Cards to trade.
- Maximum trade: You can trade up to 100 TCG Cards at a time.
- The number of Berry Tickets you get depends on the current rate.
- Example: If the rate is 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets, trading 10 TCG Cards gives you 250 Berry Tickets.
Important Note: If you’re about to exceed the max stack limit of 30,000 Berry Tickets, the trade won’t go through.
2. Trading Berry Tickets for TCG Cards
- Minimum trade: You need enough Berry Tickets to buy at least 10 TCG Cards.
- Example: If the rate is 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets, you’ll need 250 Berry Tickets to trade for 10 TCG Cards.
- Maximum trade: You can trade enough for up to 100 TCG Cards at a time.
- Example: If the rate is 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets, the most you can trade in one go is 2,500 Berry Tickets.
Important Note: Just like with Berry Tickets, the trade will fail if it causes your TCG Card stack to go over the limit.
How Are Rates Calculated?
The trade rates are dynamic! This means they change based on the total number of TCG Cards and Berry Tickets in the game.
Here’s how it works:
- The system checks how many TCG Cards and Berry Tickets exist in:
- Player inventories.
- Storage.
- Guild storage.
- Cart inventories.
- It calculates a supply ratio:
- For example, if there are 10,000 Berry Tickets and 2,000 TCG Cards, the ratio is 10,000 ÷ 2,000 = 5.
- A difficulty multiplier (default = 5) is applied to adjust the rate:
- In this case, 5 × 5 = 25.
- Final result: 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets and 25 Berry Tickets = 1 TCG.
The system automatically updates these rates whenever someone interacts with the NPC.
How Do I Use It?
- Talk to the NPC: You’ll see the current exchange rates and options to trade or exit.
- Choose what to trade:
- Trade TCG Cards for Berry Tickets.
- Trade Berry Tickets for TCG Cards.
- Enter the quantity you want to trade (within the limits).
- The NPC will check:
- Do you have enough items for the trade?
- Will the trade cause you to exceed the item stack limit?
- If everything’s okay, the trade happens instantly, and you’re logged out for security.
Important Rules
- Minimum trades: 10 TCG Cards or 10 TCGs-worth of Berry Tickets.
- Maximum trades: 100 TCG Cards or 100 TCGs-worth of Berry Tickets per transaction.
- Stack limits: You can’t exceed 30,000 Berry Tickets or 30,000 TCG Cards.
If something goes wrong (not enough items, exceeding limits), the NPC will guide you back to the menu.
What Happens After the Trade?
Once the trade is complete, the NPC automatically logs you out. This is to prevent any potential issues or abuse of the system. Just log back in and continue playing!
Example Scenarios
- You have 50 TCG Cards and want to trade for Berry Tickets:
- Current rate: 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets.
- Trade 50 TCG Cards → Get 1,250 Berry Tickets.
- You have 500 Berry Tickets and want to trade for TCG Cards:
- Current rate: 1 TCG = 25 Berry Tickets.
- Trade 500 Berry Tickets → Get 20 TCG Cards.
