Overview

Monster of the Day or MOTD for short, is a daily reward system where players hunt monsters to gather heroic points. Every day at 00:00 (12am midnight server time), a monster will be chosen at random (Custom monsters and MVPs not included), along with the number of that monster players will have to hunt and the amount of heroic points (1-3) rewarded when the task is complete.

Players will also be awarded 3 Pancakes and 20 cedi points upon successful completion.

MOTD is account based, players can only use the character they accepted the mission on to complete the hunt.

Players can find out the chosen monster by pm-ing NPC:Monster of the Day or by speaking to any of the three Monster of the Day NPCs which are located in Prontera (160, 188), Eden Group (31, 31) and the Hub (151, 260).

The following information will be displayed when speaking to the MOTD NPCs.

Monster - The monster's name Generally this should be enough to identify the monster but some monsters share the same name.
Mob ID - The specific mob ID. In cases where the mob shares its name with others, the ID will be best to accurately identify it.
Max HP - The amount of HP the monster has Generally an indicator how much damage you will have to do to kill it.
Def - How much Defense the mob has Mobs with high defences will be harder to kill with physical attacks. Critical attacks or Defense ignoring gears will be ideal for mobs like these. Or use a magical damage character instead.
MDef - How much Magic Defense the mob has Mobs with high magic defences will be harder to kill with magical attacks. Magic Defense ignoring gears will be ideal for mobs like these. Or use a physical damage character instead.
Element - The monster's element Helps to determine which elements are the best to use against it.
Current Kills - How many kills you have performed on this mob
Kills Remaining - How many more kills you need to finish todays monster kill
Todays Heroic Points - The amount of Heroic points earned after killing all the monsters for today. Can range from 1-3.

A: Use the command @whereis followed by the monster name or monster ID. A list will show where the monster naturally spawns.

Q: Where is the map with the current Monster of the Day?

A: Use (ctrl +`) to access our map interface to see where you need to go. We have Warpras that provide teleport services to most dungeons and can also be used as easier means to reach certain field maps.
